Screenshot Saturday Tuesday: is business the real monster or the giant monsters?

Every weekend, indie developers showcase their work in progress on Twitter #screenshotsSaturday label. And every Monday (well, Tuesday now, because we were off yesterday), I bring you a selection of those snaps and clips. This week we admire vast landscapes, horrifying dog globe, strange offices, giant monsters and so many other interesting and attractive indies. Check them out!

Stunning landscapes from Hyper Light Breaker (coming to Steam):

A good, dramatic zoom-out into puzzle-platformer Bionic Bay (coming to Steam, with a demo now):

I’m enjoying this horrible little shader trick in Backrooms: The Project (coming to Steam), another creepypasta-inspired first-person explorer:

I don’t appreciate being chased by a dog globe in metroidvania Being And Becoming (coming to Steam):

The Milk Lake (coming on Steam) is still fun to watch:

It’s also been a while since I watched Lifelong, a bizarre desktop adventure game:

Speaking of offices, I can confirm that the world of MiddleManagement employees is how business works:

Post-apocalypse freak, throw me into the apocalypse:

An interesting effect for waves lapping on the shore in MechaWing Adventure (coming to Steam):

I’m happy that Xenotilt (coming to Steam), the sequel to the excellent pinball game Demon’s Tilt, is just as alive:

A bit of platforming motion tech at Paintvale (demo available on Itch):

Bad time in co-op survival horror Whisper Mountain Outbreak (coming to Steam):

I’m a big believer in screen-filling attacks, like this one in Survivors of the Dawn:

I think this alien’s attempts to re-wild Earth could benefit from a slightly more delicate sandbox twist, smash them From Ashes, Bloom (coming to Steam), but you can’t deny that they get results:

This seems like a fairly simple example of route finding in Finder, but I’m interested in labyrinth cities, walking sims, and stealth:

Face off against a shielded enemy in a soulslike metroidvania The Spirit Of The Samurai (coming to Steam):

And your obligatory grapple action this week is provided by metroidvania Rusted Moss (coming to Steam tomorrow, with a demo now):

What else caught your eye this weekend, dear reader?
